Pricing

Spotify Data API pricing, per request

The same 109 endpoints are sold three ways. This page prints every plan, works out what a request costs at four monthly volumes, and says which channel is cheapest at each — nothing here is a claim the plan arrays do not back.

Prices as listed on each platform on 2 September 2026. The platform's own page is the authority if they differ.

What a request costs

The cheapest plan on each keyed platform whose quota covers the volume, and its price per 1,000 requests. Apify bills per Actor result rather than per request, so it has its own section below.

Requests / monthRapidAPIDirect portalCheaper
20,000$10/mo · Pro · $0.5 per 1,000 $9/mo · 20K tier · $0.45 per 1,000 Direct portal

RapidAPI's Mega plan is unlimited for a flat $200, so above 5M requests a month it is the cheapest keyed option; below that the direct portal wins by roughly ten percent.

Apify — pay per result

The Spotify Scraper actor runs on Apify's platform with no API key to manage: you pay for Actor results, not for requests, and new accounts get free platform credits. Scheduling, webhooks, proxy rotation and dataset exports (JSON, CSV, Excel) come with the platform. Per-result prices are listed on the actor page and are not repeated here so they cannot drift.

Which one

  • Prototype or hobby project

RapidAPI Basic: $0 for 1,000 requests a month, the same endpoints as every paid plan, one key. Upgrade in place when the app grows.

  • Production app under a million requests

The direct portal is the lower per-request price from 20K to 500K a month, pays by card or crypto, and delivers the key instantly at 10 requests per second.

  • Batch jobs, scheduled exports, no key management

Apify: pay per result, schedule runs, push results to a dataset or a webhook, and never handle a key at all.

FAQ

Is there a free tier?

Yes. RapidAPI Basic is $0 for 1,000 requests a month on every one of the 109 endpoints, and Apify grants free platform credits on signup. The reference page also runs any endpoint from the browser without a key.

Which platform is cheapest?

It depends on volume: at 20,000 requests a month the direct portal is $9 against RapidAPI's $10; at 200,000 it is $27 against $30; from 5M a month RapidAPI's flat $200 unlimited plan is the cheapest keyed option. Apify bills per result, so intermittent jobs are cheapest there.

What are the rate limits?

5 requests per second on every RapidAPI plan, 10 per second on the direct portal. Apify runs are throttled per run rather than per second.

Do plans differ in which endpoints they include?

No. Every plan on every platform includes every endpoint; the tiers differ only in monthly volume, support level and, on the direct portal, the per-second rate.

Can I pay in crypto?

On the direct portal, yes: Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and Solana, alongside card and PayPal. RapidAPI and Apify bill through their own platforms.

Is there an SLA?

RapidAPI's Mega plan carries an SLA guarantee; other plans do not promise one. The demo prints the measured latency of every call rather than quoting an average.
